“I like to keep myself in a highly energetic state when I paint. This is helped by a strict diet of fast, loud Rock ‘n’ Roll. I like to just bounce off the walls and go at it ‘til it exhausts me. I get more satisfaction working that way. The result is figurative works and sentimental symbols that at one end hold a meaning from a personal reference to my day to day existence, and on the other plays a role in the observation of human behaviour among youth culture and the fragmented social environments we live in.”
